Re: Cruise Control system - anyone have it?

You have to buy a stalk, install the stalk, and once the stalk is in, the cruise works. 95 96 97 LEXUS LS400 STEERING COLUMN CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH OEM (1120) The hard part is finding the correct cover with the hole in it. I never did find the right one. I combined 2 different ones, trimming one with...

Re: Factory Fresh Wheel

I see that Megazip.net has them for $573.79 each. Yikes!! I got all 4 of mine "refurbished" at a local company that does wheel repairs and refurbishments and paid $660 total for the set, and they looked new when I got the car back. That's probably a better option for most people, since it'...

Re: URGENT - A/C won't power on - ideas?

Well, I had replaced the compressor before because it was broken due to bad bearings. So the "replacement" compressor is fine. The A/C is blowing ice cold now, like all Toyotas do!

Re: Headlight bulb replacements - bright white options?

There are fans but they aren't noticeable with the engine running and the hood closed.

I'll get some pics the next time I'm out at night in a dark area.

Re: Headlight bulb replacements - bright white options?

Well, with no one answering, I went exploring on my own :) I bought LEDs for the H3 and H4 bulbs and installed them this morning. Went pretty well, no major issues. Headlights are much brighter now. The ones I bought from Amazon are: HB3 18,000 Lumens: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CYCFXG6J/re...

Re: URGENT - A/C won't power on - ideas?

Turns out it was a fuse. They suspected a short in the wiring in the compressor, but I told them the compressor had just been replaced.

Cost me $700 to get the compressor installed and the A/C unit fixed total. Not awful!

All better! WHEW!

Headlight bulb replacements - bright white options?

So these bulbs for my 1997 - the 81210D is the low beam, the 81110D is the high beam, and the 81110B is ? The Toyota part numbers are 90981-13047, 90981-13046, and 90981-13058. But can any of them be purchased in bright white versions? Mine are kind of dim. I assume some of that is due to age? Even ...

Tire Pressure Reset issue

Anyone know the trick to reset the “tire pressure” error message on the dash, when you change the air pressure in your tires? The advice in the manual is not working. Pressing the reset button under the dash until the correct message is displayed, then driving the car immediately, is not working. Th...
