Cruise Control?
It is mentioned in the "Accessories" section of the New Car Features PDF that I located at century.trinom.org
But I can't find it in my car.
So apparently it is an option on the 2nd Gen Century. Anyone have it? Is it on the stalk like other old Toyotas?
I'm spoiled to it, and if mine does not have it, I'm going to look to getting an aftermarket CC added.
Has anyone done that?
Cruise Control system - anyone have it?
Re: Cruise Control system - anyone have it?
I don't have it but I do know it was an option - I think you might actually be better off installing an aftermarket system than trying to retrofit the factory one, because IIRC it is restricted to 105kmh and you can't increase it.
Re: Cruise Control system - anyone have it?
There was a post on FB of someone fitting a LS400 Cruise control thing. I can't find the post, and gave up looking after 25 seconds.

You have to buy a stalk, install the stalk, and once the stalk is in, the cruise works.

The hard part is finding the correct cover with the hole in it.
I never did find the right one. I combined 2 different ones, trimming one with my Dremel tool and then attaching the little rubber grommets from the other cover onto that one.
I think these are the two parts I used:
