On my 1997:

Fluid for Transmission, Power-Steering, and Engine Cooling Fan. Usually nicknamed "Dextron III or Toyota Type-III." But most of the Toyota dealership don't know what that is. If you ask for Toyota transmission fluid they will offer you WS or Type IV.

Subjectively: I use this for my 4 speed transmission. Type III has higher viscosity than Type IV. I find it really makes the fan and power-steering smooth & quiet.

On my 1997, lots of vacuum piping!

I found the best approach is to order a bunch of cut-to-size piping. Apart from a few specialty vacuum pipes you can simply take off the existing pipe, size it against the fresh pipe and then cut it to length. My electrical wire cutters gave a clean, even cut.

Here is a picture of a handful with the leftover pipes after I cut them.

On my 1997:

Crush washers for Transmission pan plug. I usually buy a handful to keep on hand. On my Century (and LS400) I do a drain and fill of the ATF pan every few oil changes. Best to change the crush washer every time.

I don't have a Facebook account so I cannot access that link 😳
Which key is this referencing? The key with the golden phoenix encased in a black plastic case?
ie:
century_key_gold.jpg
Or the full metal key with the engraved phoenix?
ie:
century_key.jpg

I'm looking for a spare (blank) key, either design is fine. Provided it has the phoenix. But I can't figure out what the product code is for these on Amayama 😅
Does anyone else know?
