Fender Pole Snapped- Suggestions?

Fender Pole Snapped- Suggestions?

Hi all,

Like it says on the tin, the fender pole from my '97 GZG50 was snapped off at the base(?). Are there any recommended fixes short of duct tape/buying a new one? Thanks.
