Transmission Pan Replaced

Time to replace the transmission pan!


Old pan. There is a spot for 4 magnets but mine only had 3. (I removed 2 before I took the pic.)



Close up on the metal attracted to the magnet.



Old transmission filter:

Picture taken looking up on the exposued transmission. I removed the filter before I took the picture. (And I cleaned the mating surface before installing the new pan)



New filter! It has a light coating of oil from factory.



Fresh cork gaskets.

Fresh pan from Japan! Cheaper than a lot of the Lexus ones.

Not completely flat. The larger side faces front, towards the engine.
