1998 GZG50 Purchased this week!

Post by pugwonk »

Dark blue, 150k kms. I wanted a low mileage one that wasn't black, and had cloth/fender mirrors/curtains. This one wasn't very low mileage and didn't have the curtains, but it's my favourite colour and it ended up bidding quite low. Unfortunately I'm in the USA and will have to wait until the beginning of summer 2023 until I actually get it.

Hey! Fantastic looking car. I have one of my own as well. I noticed you have the wooden steering wheel. I was wondering if you had a chance to look at the wooden trims on both a non wood steering wheel interior and your own to compare the wood color? I'm looking into purchasing a new steering wheel but I don't want the wood on it to be a different colour than the wood trim on my interior. Thanks

Hi Charles - I will be delighted to do this but unfortunately I don't have the car yet. :) It's legal in May so hopefully shouldn't be too long!

Hey Dave - sorry, I completely missed this message! I am planning on keeping the car entirely stock visually, but I'd love to add a backup camera and get Android Auto in there somewhere (hopefully without changing the OEM video screen, but I'm still not entirely sure how I'm going to go about that!).

Got pics of your car you can share?
