For the sake of educating myself I changed the water pump on my 1997.
It's straight forward in many ways. But you must remember to remove the pulley because there's 1 bolt hiding behind.
Here are a few pics of the new one. I have the thermostat and inlet housing attached.
You can see the two half attached. I didn't remove any of those bolts or separate it. The old one water pump and new one just goes in one piece.
