Transmission Fluid 1997-2005

On my 1997:
I use this for my 4 speed transmission. Type III has higher viscosity than Type IV. I also use it on the engine cooling fan and power-steering. I find it really makes the fan and power-steering smooth & quiet.
Anyone have experience with fluids on the 6-speed transmission?

Here is a picture of my original transmission pan bolt compared with a brand new one.
Notice the "T III" engraved on the original.
